Emerging Artist.1 - Live & Electronic
We are delighted to announce an open call for new and developing live solo musicians and electronic artists based in Ireland to play at this year’s festival.
The chosen artist will join the festival line-up this Bank Holiday Weekend, and will receive a fee of €1,000 for their respective performance, plus will receive support across the year from the festival on upcoming releases.
Applicants are required to include a Soundcloud link to a minimum 30min mix, a list of recent events played, and full contact details. The application will not be considered without these.

Emerging Artist.2 - with Rendezvous
Rendezvous together with Forbidden Fruit are delighted to announce an open call for new and developing electronic artists from underrepresented and marginalised communities based in Ireland to play at this year’s festival.
We strongly encourage applications from artists who identify as part of POC, LGBTQIA+, and other historically underrepresented communities within the Irish music scene.
Rendezvous will be choosing the winners who will share festival stages with the likes of Kaytranada, Joy Crookes, Nia Archives, Yousuke Yukimatsu and many more, as well as play the FF night show.
Applicants are required to include a SoundCloud link to a 30 min mix, a list of recent events played, and full contact details. The application will not be considered without these.

Emerging Artist.3 - Dublin 8
Forbidden Fruit has called the city centre home for over a decade, and we know the festival wouldn’t be what it is without the people and culture of the surrounding community.
This year, we’re inviting applications from musicians and DJs living in Dublin 8 to join the lineup. Whether you’re emerging or established, we’re looking to provide a platform for local artists to share their work at the festival.
