Kool Thing

Kool Thing are a Berlin based electronic/synth/guitar band consisting of Julie Chance and Jon Dark. Originally from Dublin and Sydney, the girls met in Paris in 2010.

Layered harmonies, distorted washes of guitar, constant driving beats, psychedelic synth tones and a strong visual narrative reflects Jon Dark’s classical training and Julie Chances artistic vision. Within the first year of forming, the band had already played gigs in Copenhagen, London, Dublin, Paris and Berlin with renowned artists such as Aerea Negrot, MEN, and Austra. Making their debut Irish festival appearance at Forbidden Fruit, Kool Thing could be your new addiction.
